It’s been said that getting to know the birds is a gateway into connection with our surroundings. They are the ones first to respond to any changes in the environment. They provide information to us and all of the natural world. Getting to know them can allow us to bridge our relationships to others in the local environment.

Come join us for a 3-part series getting to know the birds of Sonoma County. This course will take place every other Saturday starting March 23rd and will be centered around identification, habitat, and communication of local birds; though also likely ranging into plants, ecology, and more.

Each class will build on the previous one so we highly encourage you to attend all four. We have left the option available to attend any number of the classes so as to offer some flexibility. If you can’t attend all four then we recommend you attending the first classes, rather than just the 3rd or 4th.

Classes will be held in Sonoma County. We may visit up to four locations over the series. Specific information with locations, directions, parking, etc will be provided before the series begins.

This workshop is open to participants 14 and up. Please review our policies for more information.
